Scope: The APICS Introduction to Supply Chain Principles is the first course in the Foundations of Supply Chain Management program. This course introduces integrated Supply Chain Management (SCM). The terminology, principles and best practices in supply chain are presented and supported with real-life examples.  The course covers end-to-end supply chain management from design to execution at a basic level.  This course is intended for everyone working in supply chain and for all job functions linked to supply chain management (e.g. Finance, IT, Purchasing, etc..).  It also helps prepare the participant for the more advanced CPIM Version 8.  Participants will need to buy access to the on-line learning system (Members - $150; Non-Members -$300).  

Who Should Attend? This course is intended for everyone working in supply chain and for all job functions linked to supply chain management (e.g. Finance, IT, Purchasing, etc..).  It also helps prepare the participant for the more advanced CPIM Version 8.  Participants will bring home proven techniques to improve customer service, reduce supply chain assets deployed and decrease costs.
